Lullaby for Pi

Sam, libraire le jour et musicien la nuit, perd la femme de sa vie, Joséphine, et de fait, le sens de son existence. Jusqu’à sa rencontre incongrue et quelque peu loufoque avec une jeune femme mystérieuse, Pi, qui devient synonyme de renaissance : pendant que Sam reprend goût à la vie et à la musique, Pi déchiffre la part du mystère qu’elle porte en elle. Une étrange relation se noue entre eux à travers la porte d’une salle de bains… absurdité et beauté des hasards de la vie à New York…

Ce n'est pas le film du siècle. Et on reconnait plusieurs ficelles typiques des films romantiques. Mais ça ne m'a absolument pas dérangé. J'aime beaucoup le côté à la fois vintage et intemporel du film, où la musique a une place prépondérante.

J'aime que Sam et Pi soient 2 artistes, chacun à leur façon. La manière dont ils se rencontrent est plus qu'incongrue (quoi que Sam rencontre Joséphine dans des conditions un peu similaire. Georges est son ange gardien... et cupidon lol!

) mais que ça fonctionne parce que ce sont 2 originaux.

D'ailleurs, Sam... c'est peut-être l'effet Rupert Friend, mais qu'est-ce qu'il est chou! Et bohème! J'adore comme il laisse son appart ouvert à tout le monde: tranquille, viens écouter de la musique, boire un verre, que je sois là ou pas Lullaby for Pi 565994

Même principe pour sa librairie: on achète/paye que ce qu'on aime. Awwww Lullaby for Pi 997285

Puis Rupes a une sacrée jolie voix! Je ne suis pas la plus grande fan du jazz, mais il peut me chanter un lullaby quand il veut Lullaby for Pi 997285

J'ai bien aimé aussi la dynamique avec William. Ca peut sembler un peu cliché, mais vu la personnalité de Sam, ça passe sans souci.

Et on a eu pas mal d'humour, j'ai rigolé à plusieurs reprises.

Bref, une excellente surprise! Je suis d'ailleurs super étonnée de n'avoir jamais entendu parler de ce film qui, sans être récent, n'est pas hyper méga vieux non plus.

Je le conseille. Surtout pour regarder tranquillement un après-midi pluvieux Lullaby for Pi 565994
